B-Movie goodness

Added new things to my blog because yes I am that bored. Really I am!
I blame Josh for getting me back into blogging as I seem to be doing it a lot… im losing grip of this world. =P

I watched Monster Squad yester full of its 80s cheese. I think it’s the 80s kid in me [alright so I was born in the 80s even if it was just 1989 still 80s] I keep going back and watching all the old classics like Back to the Future, The Lost Boys, Goonies and Monster Squad.
It is was underated in the box office when it was realesed yet its still a die hard classic. Don’t just take my word for it look around on mysapce theres a few groups on there that bum the film and the news that they are planning to re-vamp it [re-make] well a lot of the fans didn’t like that.

Im not sure I mean the reason MS is so good is because of its 80s cheese and the effects where good at least. And how could you replace Stan Winston’s mummy in the film you cant.

Butt not all re-makes are bad. But I do worry because its going to be America doing it. And the last few re-makes aint been that good.
Horror films in America have really gone down hill of late welll that was until The Mist came out. That was a brilliant film. Yet it did badly in America and do you know why? Because of the ending.
I don’t understand what there love for the happy everything gets explained endings. I loved the ending to this film it was depressing and sad well if I hadn’t been giggleing at it because well you should never do that even as a last resort. Well for them of you who don’t want to know the ending for the film don’t read ahead now!

He and some of the others managed to get away in the car when the gas runs out they have 4 bullets left in the gun yet there was five of them. He kills them instead of letting them get eaten by the killer bug things, he even had to kill his son. Gutted. Well he got out of the car yelling for one of the bugs to come and eat him when guess what. The mist clears and the bugs get killed by the army hehe. Well gutted right!

That film had good B movie effects to it and the ending was brilliant. Roll on another horror like that.
