Horror of the Horror Films

Kay so yesterday before going all depressed and such me and Josh where in town talking about none other then Horror films. I know theses been so many the good the bad and the plain damn ugly.
I think it would be best to say the best horrors came out in the 8Os, however the special effects and acting was never perfect but it they where made now you know they would be made ten times better. But it was the storyline that made them. The only down fall i would say is that the old horror films there was like ten other movies made for the film and they never got a cinema realse because well they went the best of movies. Think The Ring then there came the Ring 2. The second one never as good as the first one.
So here is my list of the best Horror films iv seen so far (as i plan to live alot longger)

Im sure there’s more but my brain isn’t in thinking mode right now.
So yes onto my point!
Lately we have been lacking in the Cult Horror films sure we get a new horror film every now and again some are good and some are well better left on the stores self. Like the messengers, it got bad reviews but really it was a good film, it was different and ok it could have been a little batter but over all it was a good film.

I was annoyed to learn that Wrong Turn 2 was not going to be shown in the cinema, iv read reviews on it and they been all good. It annoyed me that film as crap as Hills have Eyes 2 can get released in the pics but good films like Wrong Turn 2 and such don’t. What’s wrong with the world?

I finally watched the trailer for the up and coming film Hatchet today after Josh told me about it and i then saw it in a ad. And i think at first mew another horror but i watched the trailer and it looks great. Back down tot he 8Os style storyline only better actors and effects.

Here are my rules for a good classic horror film:
Great storyline (not a crappy little ghost monster thing that in the end is killed by smashing a few child hood toys yes im talking about bogey man here grr)
Lots and lots of blood and death (its a must)
The monster or killer is never dead there’s always a way back
Hide the fact that the main character will die in the end to give the viewer a shock (please i mean its so annoying when you know the main character will live. Try and mix it up here people)
Always believe the children if they say they saw something then they did
Never and i mean NEVER go up stairs if you hear something and your ALONE (we all know what happens then)
Woods are always a good place to die
The cops never and help always die
and the final but not last always stay a virgin they never die. Its a rule. Well on most they do. But i guess if you think wrong turn then it doesn’t count.

Im in the mood for doing list so heres my life of how to stay alive if you in a real horror film:
Never go anywhere alone
Dont be a mega bitch they always die
Dont be a women user
Never go down anything with the name "Death and Killer" written all on it that means no alley ways.
Sluts always die
Never run up stairs way from the killer run out side god danm it!
Virgins most of the time always live but tis the 21st century now so the rules have changed
If some one is following you don’t stop and turn to them run like a mad man on speed damn it!
