The Buffy comic season 8 issue 5 will not be out till 1st Aug. I know its really really sad. Like sucky.
Well the good news. The Buffy comic rocked. Like really rocked.
Warren tells us how he managed to kindda live through Willows skinning. Amy had a 4 second window before he would die and she made him puff into smoke. She used her magic to protect him. So his skin is really magic. So maybe if Amy died he would die. That would be a really downer for him.
Dawn tells Buffy that Willow is like a mom to her now. Which has gotta hurt Buffy. I mean after all shes done for her.
They manage to re-open the portal to help save Willow. Buffy wanted Xander to with her but he said he would be better staying behind helping her find her way around the place. She gets one of the new slayers to help her. Satsu (Slayer) (Link to her boi thing)
They kicked army butt. Not killing them with them being human and all. And i new twist. Quite a big one really now. It seems that Willow is part of Buffy and Buffy the same with Willow. That could be interesting.
Whilst Buffy distracts Amy Satsu manages to blow up the door so they can get into to Willow. Which they do. Amy takes off with Warren.
They save Willow just in time as she was dieing she manages to heal herself though. Which is always handy.
And Buffy stubbles upon Ethan's now dead body. General Voll had shot him. That's gotta mean Ethan knew something. Buffy wall slams Voll she sees his make on his chest (Buffy issue one) and he says that Buffy has just about ended the world but not in them words. He says that once she’s rid the world of evil she will still be wanting to slay something. Because of the inner demon in her.
Voll: "Twilight is coming. For you, for all your monstrous spawn... it all ends very soon"
Buffy: "Are you talking about the girls who are protecting the world from"
Voll: "Evil? Demons? Where do you think your power comes from? Oh wait: you already know. You've upset the balance girl. Do you really think we were going to let you create a master race?"
Buffy: "This isn’t about demons at all, is it? Its about women. Its about power and its about women and you just hate those two words in the same sentence don’t you?"
Voll: "You think it's only men want to bring you down?
Your not human. You’ve been to war with the demons with the first. But believe me you picked the wrong side. 'Cause god help us if you win then you'll decide the world still isn’t the way you want it. And the demon in you will just say one thing 'slay' We're not waiting for that to happen. W will wipe you out. Not just monsters anymore. Its you against the world.
Your at war with the human race!"
Buffy: Oh, kay.
Buffy: "Are you talking about the girls who are protecting the world from"
Voll: "Evil? Demons? Where do you think your power comes from? Oh wait: you already know. You've upset the balance girl. Do you really think we were going to let you create a master race?"
Buffy: "This isn’t about demons at all, is it? Its about women. Its about power and its about women and you just hate those two words in the same sentence don’t you?"

What more can i say. The comic was brilliant.
